I have a cd that matured 2 days ago. Called for the current rates and thought the guy was kidding.

Yep. You can do just as well with an ING high-yield savings (which really isn't all that high) and keep your $$ liquid.

I don't need the money right now, so I opted for the "special"--- 7 month cd.
