XP: SBay Carpet Cleaning Req's

We need to get our carpets cleaned and were hoping you guys would have suggestions of great places to call...If you can...a ballpark $$$ (per room or per the sq footage you did) would be nice to know too (I have an idea of how much it typically costs, but just want to make sure I am right).TIA

  • we've used ChemDry - theyre all over the bay area. Theyve done a good job each time but the smell is strong imo. The drying time is much shorter too.

  • My friend's neighbor owns his own cleaning service company. They charge 3 rooms for $100...which I think is a great deal! If you think so too, let me know I will ask her for the #.
  • We've gone with COIT twice now. And keep in mind our carpet gets HEAVY foot traffic. And with the baby, we've gotten tons of new spots on the carpet.

Each time, the carpets come out looking brand new again. We love them. We paid $135 for the living room, dining room, stairs and upper landing.  They'll even put a nice scent on the carpet if you want. We don't do this, and there is no smell at all. And every single spot has come up, (orange juice, various berries, mud, milk.... you name it, our carpet had it)

  • My coworker/friend's hubby has a carpet cleaning business. Not exactly sure what he charges, but I know it's reasonable. His name is Jose Correa and his number is 408-829-5128. We need to get ours done too so we'll probably be calling him as well. GL!
