  The middle names will be after family, but we havent decided on first names yet.  Its pretty obvious that they are boys but I want to wait until the 20 week u/s just to play it safe.

  we have not fully decided on their names, but we both would like part of their name to be after their grandfathers or great-grandfathers.

  No new updates.

  As far as names go, we are naming them Johnathan Elmer and Jonah Scott. Johnathan is after a family friend who has played a big role in DH's life and Elmer is DH's grandfather's name. We just like the name Jonah and Scott is my dad's and brother's middle names. DS is named after my brother who passed (Joseph) and DH's middle and FIL's first name (frederick)

  31 weeks today!!  And I passed my 3-hour glucose with flying colors, which was a big relief : )  I did get a call today that my Group B Strep increased on my last culture though, so I'm starting an antibiotic for that. 

  We'll definitely be using family names in some form for the girls.  Right now there are a group of names we like and we're trying to figure out first and middle.  We did like Grace and Bella for first names... but Grace is my sister's middle name and Bella is not a family name.  Now we may choose another first to go with Bella, and use Grace and Mary as middle names (Mary is after my great grandma and deceased aunt).

  We're considering using grandfathers names (my maternal and DH's paternal).  They're William Thomas (mine) and Jacob Lewis (DH's).  We're still not set, but they're the only ones we've really considered since finding out the genders at 17w.

  DH has been set on the name Shea since before we met for his first daughter. Its after Shea Stadium but its pretty so we will probably go with it. No idea on mn.

  I want to use Henry as a mn for the boy after my grandfather, but no idea on a first name.

  passed my glucose screening test! that's the only real update.

  Baby A's first name is going to be DH's middle name and  Baby B's middle name is going to be DH's first name. Also, we had a nephew who died when he was 6 months old last year and we're going to have his name be baby A's middle name. We have to talk to my brother and SIL about it when they come out for thanksgiving, but as long as they are ok with it, that's what we'll do.

  For naming we are mixing our two backgrounds, so we are looking at a combination of Hebrew and Chinese for first and middle names.  So they will likely be named after people as well as have names with special meanings.  It is quite an endeavor!

  One of the boys will have DH's middle name, but all the other names we just decided on.  They aren't named after anyone.

  My husband is the 4th, so if we have a boy he will be named after my husband (and his father, grandfather, etc.)  We don't have any other names picked out, I guess we're waiting to find out what we are having.

  Update: We had our big u/s this past week. Babies are doing well, but they want us back in 3 weeks to take another look at their hearts. We're trying to not be too anxious, but of course we're a little concerned that the tech and/or MFM saw something worrisome.

  QOTD: We're using family names for their middle names (we have 2 boy family names and 2 girl family names on the list), but they'll have their "own" names for first names. We're still in the discussion phase on first names, and I imagine we will be for some time to come, lol!

  No new updates.

  We are going to pick names that are meaningful and then alternative names that are not.  We'll decide what to do once we see the babies.  My DH's father passed away about 6-7 years ago and he would like to name one of our sons "David" for that reason.  I don't mind, but I think we then have to give the other boy a very meaningful family name as well.  My grandfather (the best man I have ever known) was named Aleksey (Russian name).  I don't like the sound of it in English, but we are thinking of shortening and going with "Alek".   The alternative names will probably be untraditional, possibly with a Hebrew-Russian flare, but we haven't picked yet.

  No exciting new here.  We decided not to do the CVS testing and just do the NT scan and then amnio if need be.
  

  QOTD:  My son's middle name is after DH.  We have no idea what we will name these triplets.  We are waiting to find out the sexes and then start thinking of names, not sure if we will use any family names.

  Both boys are being named after family members.

  Henry Phillip - Henry is DH's paternal grandfater and Phyllis is his mom

  Joseph Steven - Joseph is my maternal grandfather and Steven is my father

  I really do like the names Henry and Joseph regardless of being family names. The middle names are kind of nms, but DH really wanted them.

  I went in for my 1 hour glucose test today... keep your fingers crossed.  Babies are measuring in at 1 lb 11 oz (Boy) and 1 lb 8 oz (Girl).  While I have only gained an additional 4 lbs in the last 5 weeks I'm measuring at 33 weeks! 

  As for names, we haven't officially decided, but we will be using a family name for the boy (first or middle name).

  Update: I had my 16 week check up yesterday and the babies heartrates were 140s and 160s. I am feeling good, just tired.  Unfortunately, I have to wait another 4 weeks to find out what they are!!  I have an appt in 2 weeks but my anatomy scan is not for 4 weeks.
  

  QOTD: We haven't decided on names yet, but if they are girls we have decided to make both middle names Grace, after my sister that died 3 years ago at the age of 30 from brain cancer.

  James is after DF.

  Amalia (a possible for our girl name) is a mix of my two best friends, Natalia and Amy.

  Alessandra (another possible) is after my Grandma who died 1 year ago.

  Grace ( a possible MN) is DF's mom.

  I am considering Anya because 1. It's Russian (my heritage) 2. It is a form of Anna (my grandmother) 3. It means Grace (DF's mom)

  Update:  Had doc appt yesterday and got sent to L & D for high blood pressure and protein in my urine and 24hr bed rest.  I also had to do a 24 hour urine test and brought back to hospital this afternoon....waiting for results.  Doc put me on bed rest the rest of the weekend.  Wish me luck!

  QOTD:  The middle names are family names and we just favor the first names.
