so i was there 2 weeks ago w/preterm labor. now i'm 35.3 wks pg

went in again tonight with some strong cramping and contrax. By the time I was up on the monitor the contrax were decreasing (of course...) so the nurse told the doc over the phone I just didn't know the difference between strong baby movements and contrax. (yes DH and I overheard it all.)

So...I had some contrax but not tons - either way I know what they are thank you very much.

But -- doc said I'm not "really" dilated but my cervix is soft and he can feel the baby's head so she's in position. I basically have to stay on the pills til Sunday (36 wks) and then we'll see what happens.

Hang in there!!!!

I can't believe that nurse. The same thing happened to me with B. Strong contractions about 5 minutes apart lasting a minute. By the time we got there, nothing. The nurse kind of gave me the side eye and told the doctor on the phone that "she says she's in labor and having contractions but I don't think so". Um, I'm right here. It was 2am. I'm not the biggest fan of just going to the hospital for kicks at 2am.
