Sooooo....when are you gonna see doc after BFP?

I usually go to doc asap after BFP, after 2 losses, I'm thinking of waiting a week or so to get tested just in case, isn't that awful...I just don't want to get hopes up...any of you doing the same? Only reason why I might go in asap is to test prog levels to make sure I don't need prometrium again (hope not- it made my whole office spin).

    I got my BFP on 10/30 and didn't intend to call the dr for a while. However I couldn't put my thermometer down so I freaked myself out and got my betas done on 11/4 - I mainly cared about my progesterone. They were so good I didn't need to go in again. Today I had the regular early pregnancy bloodwork-up done. 9 viles! Surprise I had no idea it would be so many.

    I'll see the dr as soon as possible.  But I'll be on Lovenox next time I get pregnant, so my situation is a bit different.  I wouldn't wait regardless... I'd rather get in for betas asap, because if I do lose another one, I want that bloodwork/documentation to show I that I was pregnant.

    i'm so sick of giving blood- about a month ago in an effort to rule out any issues- they took SIXTEEN viles of blood!!!!! No more blood for the vampire needle :(

    I was just gonna ask this same question and add if you would get betas too or not..I personally dont see how I can make myself wait but I would really like to wait at least till I would be 6 weeks or so because as soon as I see a heartbeat I will feel a lot better...but who knows..I bet ill call the morning I get a bfp haha

    I'm so glad you asked this. I should be testing on Friday and just asked my DH if he thought I should go to Dr. right away or wait. We were both undecided so maybe everyone's answer with help me decide!

    I am going to wait until after six weeks, so I can see the hb.  I don't need any bloodwork, according to my doctor.

    Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

    Personally cause I waited so long the second time, ugh so mad about, I am calling my DR. the day I find out!!!!!!!!!! And I know he will want to see me asap just to get #'s and everything!!! My DR. is awesome!!! He always worries about you, and wants to make sure your mind is at ease. But he will only say anything to you if something is wrong!!!

    I will call the doc the moment I get a BFP.  No pausing.  With 2 CPs, we are trying to figure out what is going on with me still.
