in TTC After a Loss

I don't have to wait until tomorrow morning to test.  As I was sitting here trying to read the day's posts, I fell asleep.  I felt my eyes getting heavy, and thought I could read "just one more post."  When I woke up (probably asleep for about 30 minutes), I had to pee. 

I snuck out of my seat on the couch (wouldn't want to wake the sleeping dog...he'd want to follow me to the bathroom, as he always does), and went to the downstairs bathroom.

No question about it, red blood.  AF is here!  I know for most of us, AF being here sucks, sucks, sucks, but since this is my first AF after m/c, I'm okay with it arriving. In fact, that makes me even happier that my ob/gyn won't be upset that we were NOT successful at TTA.  

Now, is CD1 today (had spotting this AM and that's what I marked on Ovusoft software so far) or tomorrow since it's nearly 10:30 p.m.??  

And this means I won't be on Turkey 2.0, but the December badge??  I'm ready to be all over it!  And hope for as much luck with that one as the turkey butt!

    I would could tomorrow as CD1.  My RE says anything past mid-afternoon is considered the next day.  This current cycle, AF started around 10:30pm too, and I considered the next day, day 1.

    I hope this is the only time I'm happy about AF.  Funny since this is my first month (month plus, really) charting, I was prepared and looking out for a temp drop.  Some of the other charts I looked at had temps dropping as much as a degree for AF (and implantation spotting was a little bit of a drop, but not below coverline).  But the spotting I had this morning reminded me of what happened with the m/c, too.  So, I was expecting AF, but questioning if that temp drop was enough, and thinking I needed to buy HPTs too just to be sure.  Now, I have PLENTY of HPTs... all set for December testing.

    Thanks Tex (and all others who may reply)...going to bed now. VERY TIRED.  :-)

    well, never fun - but glad you are back on track!
    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    Sorry about AF, but now your OB won't throw things at you...so you've got that going for you.  Good luck next cycle!

    Just saw your earlier post - BFP buddies sounds great to me!  I need to wait for the late December badge I think.  Hopefully NO champagne on NYE for us!

    WOO HOO thats awesome. I was bumbed for like 5 mins because AF showed yesterday, but we were TTC before 1st AF post m/c. But now Im right there with you so happy for her to be here and ready to get this thing going.
