Should I get another blood draw?

Two weeks ago, my hCG was still at 28. My doctor called to tell me to come back in this week for another blood draw. Since then, my period has come and gone. Should I bother to go back today for another draw? The hospital is a half hour away and I really don't feel like it...

(I'd ask my doctor, but I'll never get an answer by the end of the day)

I'm no expert... but I'm thinking you would not have had AF if you still had HCG in your system. Is there a nurse at your OB's office that you can call and ask?

I'm sorry this is such a pain. I know it's not fun to go every week for another draw. Mine last week as 15 and I'll still go in on Thursday for yet another one. I think I would at least call a nurse and see what they say. Good luck!

I have a call into the nurse, but she'll probably have to talk to the OB anyway. I have the world's busiest OB.

The same thing happened to me. I called the Dr.'s office trying to get out of my appointment, but they told me to come in because they want to monitor my levels until they reach 0.

It is such a pain waiting for the levels to drop- good luck!
