Retail therapy: is this a keeper? (PIP)

I hit up the Nordstrom sale the other day and ordered this trench that arrived today - great timing to cheer me up.  It isn't perfect - I like it, but don't lurve it (the two flaps on the shoulder, which aren't really visible in the pic, bug me).  Anyway, what do you think?

    If you don't love it, you're not going to wear it.

    I'd return it and get something you love and you know you'll wear.

    fwiw, I think it is supercute, but YOU have to love it.

    Two----I like it! I'd love a cutesy trench coat. I seen a girl with a really cute lime-olive-ish colored one the other day and craved it to be mine!!!

    I'm not worried about the girls here (re: showing my face), it's the creepers that creep me out.  See the "Poser" post from earlier: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/25756083.aspx

    Thanks for the positive feedback...I think I'm going to keep it.  It was a real steal at under $100!

    I think you look hawt, but if you don't love it you might not be convinced.

    I love the "modification."  Cracks me up.  I will have to keep that in my arsenal for when sillouettes won't suffice...

    personally I think it looks really cute! but like others said if you aren't in love with it and have issues with the flaps then you might not wear it often and might be happier returning it and finding something you truly love love love.
