TTC After a Loss

Mrs

hey I was wondering if you read about the tamiflu drug, I heard its dangerous to pregnant women in there first trimester, have you heard anything?

Re: Mrs

  • Tamiflu maker Roche say it?s not normally recommended for use by pregnant women because the effects on the unborn child are an unknown.

  • I read that too. My husband & I decided after 2 pills that I'm going to stop taking it. I know most people won't like that decision but I think that's the best choice for me. I've had the flu before & I've had liquids & rest & that's been fine. 2 of my hippy friends have had h1n1 and they fought it with. Natural foods, liquids, and rest & they actually felt better earlier than people taking Tamiflu. I hope this decision doesn't bite me in the a$$ but it feels right.
  • It's a tough decision, I have been googling it all morning and all I have read is that basically Relenza is safe for pregnancy, which is a drug like tamiflu.

Oh anyways, I hope you feel better very soon, I will be praying for you and your little baby and make sure you get lots of vitamen D!
