8 mos old at Christmas time...

What toys are you asking for for your little one at Christmas time? My DD will be around 8 mos. old then and we need ideas of good toys to have relatives get her. Any ideas? What are you all asking for?

    We are asking for and activity table, bath toys, and books. I think all of those should be pretty age appropriate at that time!

    DD is 9.5 months old now. Here are things that I would recommend:

    simple board story books (loves turning the pages). DD loves Diaper David books, Good Night Gorilla, Sandra Boynton books.

    Play table--we just got the Leap Frog one two weeks ago and she loves it

    Fisher Price little tub of blocks with the cover that you can stick blocks through, if you don't already have it. DD loves to play and play with the blocks. You might just want to get these now if you don't have them.

    A musical toy, like we have a toy piano MegaBlok thing that she likes and a plastic Leap Frog animal counting guitar.

    Melissa and Doug soft toy set (we have fish bowl fill 'n spill)

    Things YOU need for baby--baby clothes, whatever?
