I would like to procreate again.

Even though I can't even do the deed that gets me knocked up.

& despite the fact that my kid's reflux is kicking both our asses on a daily basis to the point that I sit & cry.

but still. I'd like to do it again. Soon.

This is the point where someone takes mercy on me & bashes me upside the head with a 4x4. With splinters.

1) Reflux so bad you want to cry at 3 weeks? Sounds like my life. You need to vent or ask advice, i'm here.
2) Week 3 and 4 are the worst. You'll feel a little better in 2 weeks.
3) He's gorgeous!

Fred, seriously. Reflux is the devil. I think we've finally figured out a good way to stave it off, which involves the bouncer in the crib & Moby'ing him whenever he's awake. But it's EXHAUSTING.

Is Baby D on meds?

I felt the same way as you up until this past week (and we were going to start TTC this summer). I can't keep up with this kid anymore now that he's walking and constantly opening drawers/cabinets and pulling things off of shelves, etc. I'm more exhausted now than I can ever remember being.

Reflux is awful!! DS had it (& I suspect still does, but it doesn't bother him as often).

He was on Prevacid & Zantac starting at 3 months (when we could finally convince the Peds that even though it wasn't projectile, he WAS swallowing it & it hurt him, etc, and DH & his family has a large history of children w/reflux issues). We kept him on it until I weaned him from Prevacid first, at around 11 months, then Zantac at 14 months.

And I would LOVE to see more gorgeous babies!!

I only share this in hopes to make you feel better:

After 20hrs of labor and a baby in distress I had a c/s. While being pushed off to the OR DH, my mom and I were talking about who would take care of DS while we delivered the next one. Yeah, even after being five days overdue and not yet seeing our child for the first time, we were already planning for the next child. You are not alone. Smile
