What is your "christmas tree theme"

For the past few years I've been using my mom's old decorations for our house and tree. The color scheme was burgundy and forrest green.

This year I'm finally buying me own stuff and I think I'm going to go with red, white and silver.

Do you have a theme?

    Nope no theme.  We have a mixture of old and new stuff.

    Last year we finished off our Star Trek ornimates and are going to be using those. Nerdy I know. We are also excited to put out our Charlie Brown tree.

    i do all white lights, red, white and silver decor.  It is very pretty. I love it and have not gotten tired of it yet. :) THis will be my fourth year doing it.

    That is exactly what I'm doing. I got some really pretty red pointsettia flower clips to put on branches as well.

    No theme just a mixture of old and new.  We started out with a lot of blue red & silver decor and then my DH & I started getting our old ornaments when our parents would get their stuff out so now we have a lot of old & some new.  I want a 2nd tree in my house that would have a theme to go in our front window though

    No theme... We have a plethora of ornaments from our childhood that we got from our moms, so, no room for a theme! Unless you count the childhood ornaments as the theme?

    Our living room has teal accents so last year I did a teal and silver theme with white lights.  It looked really pretty!  I'm sure as time goes on though we will get a wide variety of ornaments so our tree won't have a "theme" anymore.

    We've done gold for the past 2 years. We may switch it up and add some red this year. Not sure yet.

    Both of our moms saved all our childhood ornaments, so we use those, and ones that we've bought throughout the years. We're starting the tradition of buying DS an ornament every Christmas as well.

    black and white.  it matches all of my stuff.  i got a black tree with white lights and white/silver ornaments.  It sounds strange, but it looks very classy and goes with the rest of the house.  oh and instead of a train, we have a race car set that whips around the bottom of the tree.  I like it
