sorry for teaser - but just walked into work and receptionist had 12 week u/s today and FOUND OUT SEX. a) I'm thrilled for her that all is going well, and b) wow that is early, no?
and I am excited for her - but she is extremely social, always on her cell, FB ,etc. and my office is 20 feet from her - so I hear everything all day. and while excited for her, I also don't need the constant reminders all day.
(sorry for vent - I'm actually having an ok monday).
Re: I can be excited, right?
Vent away.
And yes, 12 weeks is early. She probably had an NT scan and the tech guessed. You can get a good chuckle when she starts buying stuff and finds out the tech was wrong at her 20 week u/s.
Bloggin' It
vent away!
and yes, that is VERY early! I wouldn't be painting that room quite yet!

Good for you for being happy for her. I've heard of a few people finding out that early.
I have a co-worker (she knows about my losses and has been trying since Feb) who just had her first appointment Friday. She asked if I wanted to see her u/s pics. With hesitation, I said sure. So tough.
Ohhh, so not the post I expected!!!! I was hoping for your bfp.
Anyway, 12 weeks is early to find out. The tech may have gotten a very clear shot, though and was able to tell.
Can you close your door? That's gotta be annoying.
YES! I listen to internet-radio all day when I'm in my office anyway - so that helps.
unfortunately I do know she is type that will have the nursery finished tomorrow. Which is great - she is more organized and prepared than any person I know in all aspects of her life (making her a great assistant - I am already dreading the fact that she doesn't want to return to work post-having baby) -- but I just don't want the u/s tech to be wrong for her sake!
Wow, that is early....I wonder if they even said they were 90% sure it's a XXXX. I hope they're right!
And you can be excited, I understand not wanting to hear it all day long though.
Wow. That is early. They told me that they "thought" they knew what I was I was having, but wouldn't tell me until my u/s at 19wks. They even reconfirmed dd at a 22 wk ultrasound.
I don't blame u for not wanting to hear about it all day like that.....I'm sorry. My MIL informs me of most stuff w/my SIL---then she'll say, "You didn't know".......SIL and I are in a "don't ask-don't tell" relationship these days. Thankfully.
I hope you have a better rest of the day!
