Metformin and dairy products

Has anyone else had any trouble drinking milk while on metformin?  It kills my stomach and makes me feel very uncomfortable!

    Personally I can''t tolerate cow's milk while taking Metformin.  I usually drink rice milk or almond milk instead and that really seems to help curb the side effects.  Maybe try those and see if that works for you too!  Hope that helps.

    I don't drink too much milk so haven't really noticed. I hope you figure something out.

    I was also drinking Almond Milk, that seemed to be fine  :)

    I haven't noticed any issues. And I've been drinking milk like crazy lately!

    I haven't noticed anything with milk while on Met either, but I hope the Lactaid works!
