I'm sorry for your loss. My second loss was a chemical, and yes, it was exactly like my period.

Mine was like my period - actually slightly lighter and 1 day shorter. I doubt I would have noticed the difference though if it wasn't marked on my chart.

Did you ladies get panels done to determine why u keep m/c?

This is my 2nd in two months and I want answers and my DH is frustrated at my docs for not putting me on Pro inserts until they found out i was pg.

I get AF for (2) days and i think this cp is just about over, I started bleeding on friday late afternoon and now its brown and very very light...so i guess its like my period? Did you girls ttc right away? I hear baby aspirin & extra b6 & pro is a good start to prevent m/c

This. If I hadn't gotten a BFP and confirmed with bloodwork at the dr, then I would have never know. It was exactly like AF, just a week late.

My AF was not due until today but I started bleeding on Friday so it was 2 days early for me..is this normal?

My doc didn't do bloodwork after my c/p because the loss was so different than my first - she thought they were both just bad luck (different kinds of bad luck). She did put my on progesterone supps and baby aspirin. I take the baby aspirin throughout my cycle and the progesterone after I o until AF (or keep taking it with BFP).

I'm sorry you're going through this. If you aren't satisfied with the care that you are getting from your doctor, get a second opinion. Good luck!

I'm guessing the early AF was normal since it's a m/c, but you can check with the doctor. I called the RE after my c/p and she did a ton of b/w, u/s, and HSG. I don't know for sure if the b/w covered all of the RPL testing though. My OB told me to wait one cycle to try again, but we half tried right away. I think I have heard people say they didn't have to wait at all. As far as the baby aspirin, I would check with your doctor on that one.

I'm so sorry. My first pregnancy ended as a chemical pregnancy. It was exactly like my period-no heavier and no lighter-and lasted the same amount of days it usually does.

Yes, I'm taking baby aspirin. I started taking it after my D&C followup per my doctor's advice.

Not all doctor's agree with taking it... some feel that it can do more harm than good in terms of TTC, so I would check with a trusted health professional before you start it.

I've had 2 CPs. Each was a bit different. Very much like AF though. With my first one, I bled light for 7 days straight (my periods are usually not longer than 5 days). The next one I bled very heavy for 3 days (the first day was heavy...none of the light stuff I normally get) and I cramped (which I rarely, if ever do). Then I was light for 2 days after that.

I also found that AF came as scheduled the next month.

Do you also know about progestrone? mine @ cd 21 was 18.1 and my lining was 10 then a week later when I got my pg my pro was 5? Thats a big drop.. this is why i'm pissed at my doctor they could have had me on the pro right after i ovulated since this happened to me in Sept also..

What do you think?

I was told to only use a pad. But I think I was told that because they were hoping I wasn't m/c'ing. I started using a tampon after a couple days because I figured had I not tested when I did, I would have just thought AF was late and would have used tampons anyway.

that's what happened to me. i got a bfp about 4 days before my af was due. (i have a long luteal phase, so i wasn't surprised), the next day it was a negative, and i began bleeding right away. So, AF came two or three days early. It makes sense in my head at least.

my 3rd loss was a chemical pregnancy and I was srupised to bleed heavy for 15 days straight!
