TTC After a Loss

I'm bacccck!!!!!!!!

and I missed you guys SO much.

Vacation was awesome and for the most part, very relaxing.  The resort sucked as did the food, but we were gone most of the time so it didn't matter too much.  We're looking forward to next November, we've decided to go back and catch what we didn't get to see since there's so much to do there.

We f**ked and played so much, it was awesome (we had two doors seperating us from the kids).  It was nice to be able to do it without worrying about timing.

I  was cruising TTCAL one day and saw that Mrs got a BFP (does anyone have a link to her post?).  Congrats Mrs and a H&H 9 months to you.  Unfortunetly that's all I had time for was a few minutes of crusing.

Any other BFP's in the last week or so?

We went to Tenerife, Canary Islands. I can't say enough good things about the Island.  The weather was perfect, beaches were awesome and there was so much to do.  People were pretty friendly.  If you like British people, this seems to be their vacation get-away, kinda like Canadians to Florida lol.  Lots of British restarants and pubs which we stayed away from as the food isn't our style, but there were LOTS of other fabulous restaraunts there.  We ate a couple to get away from the resort.  We stayed at Isla Bonita (I'd stay away from the Adonis resorts and their affliates when there).  Not the greatest experience with them at all.  We've stayed at a lot of places and this one ranks pretty low on our list.

  • Thanks!  Sounds like a great place to visit.  I lived in Spain for a year, and a lot of the Spaniards from the region where I stayed (Galicia) loved to travel to the Canaries in the winter.  They said the same thing about it being popular with British tourists.  I'd love to make it out there someday!

BTW, how's Russia?  What brings you there?

I'm pretty sure my blog said so, but in short my husband who is military is on loan to DEFAIT and the Canadian Embassy here.

Sounds like a great experience for you and your family.  After reading your blog, do your kids attend russian school, or does Canada provide schooling out there?  On a side note, I'm glad your younger one loves his teacher.  I'm a teacher myself, and I always try to get the kids to buy into the whole motivation thing :)

The kids attend a Anglo American Private School, so all english speaking teachers with kids from all over the world.  Our Embassy or Ottawa pays the tuition for both our kids, we don't pay a penny except for the endless fundraisers that go on 4 and 5 times a month.  My son's teacher last year was horrible, she shouldn't have taught kindy at all, big change this year for sure, it's great.
