AW, funny story from last night

We have DD's baby bathtub sitting in the floor of the bathroom in the hallway. I can set her in it with a couple of toys and she plays long enough to let me go to the bathroom or wash my hands or whatever. So she was sitting in it last night while DH bathed our weenie dog in the big bathtub next to her. He gets out, DH towel dries him, and the dog starts shaking to fling the extra water off.

DD cracks up!! Like, not just a few giggles, but huge belly laugh like we only get when we're tickling her! She's only laughed at something one other time like this (my mom's golden ret. running around!) and I LOVED IT! I should have grabbed my video camera, but I didn't want to leave the beautiful sight of my baby girl cracking up at a wet weenie dog!

    Ahh!  Jack belly laughs at our weenie too!  Only when Oscar is playing rough w/ toys though!

    Hehe, I LOVE that laugh!!!  Only heard it once from my LO and I destroyed it by running away to get the camera.  Blamed myself for him not doing it again...  I thought he thought...  Me laughing = mommy leaving.

    Mrs. Love, that's not true at all!! (I meant to quote you, but I didn't and I'm too lazy to go back and do it now!)

    My DD is very "selective" with her smiles and laughs, for a lack of a better word. Others think she's not happy, but I know better. She is observant and chooses when to laugh. That's why it made me sooooo happy!
