Anyone else have an anterior placenta and not feeling a ton of movement? Every appointment/ultrasound has been fine and her heartbeat is good but I feel like I'm missing out on all the movement. I feel "something" sometimes but am sad that I don't feel a ton and certainly can't distinguish what the movement really is. ![]()
Re: Not a whole lot of movement...
I have an anterior placenta but I still feel the baby regularly. I find if I lie on my side then I feel the baby a lot.
I didn't feel it until quite late though. I'm happy with the amount of movement I feel because it's always exciting.
I know some women get to the point of, "enough already, I need to go to sleep"

I felt a lot less movement w/ DS than DD. It seemed like at least 1x every day I would wonder or worry about it. Of course, then he would move a little and I'd be reassured.
It sounds odd, but it used to seem like he would grow and "fill' all available space and I'd feel a lot of movement, and then the next week or so I'd pop out a little more and not feel very much for a week or so, then the whole thing would happen again. I mean, I felt him every day, but sometimes it was so subtle, I'd sit on the couch and wait and wait...
I have a tilted uterus, so I always thought that was the issue. Now, this time, DD moves so much more and is so much higher she keeps me up at night.
