Hello

I've been lurking all week.  DH's job just deployed him for 4 months - former military now a contractor.  So far its going well, but I sure do miss help with the diaper changes and long showers. 

Any tips to staying sane?

ETA - we don't have any family in the area or anywhere near us.

    If you need to talk, DON'T hold it in. It definitely gets the best of you. It's hard, but take it one day at a time, and just know that it's only temporary! Cherish the bonding time. Smile

    Hello and welcome!  I will tell you it gets easier as your baby gets older(IMO).  Do you have any kind of friend support system?  Getting out with my DD really helps me from going crazy.

    Yes I joined a mommy and me group...  It has been really nice - I also joined my local babywearing group, but they don't meet as often.  :)
