Hey Ladies-

I've been mostly a lurker on this board since August. I stop by a few other boards occasionally, but usually find myself right back here! Mostly l just like to read your posts and browse, as I don't really know anyone, but I feel like we're in the same boat at least. Several of you have been so kind as to give me your advice and kind words when I have posted a few times-so thank you!! Sorry for not offering much in response to posts!

Anyways, a few things about me: My DH and I got our first BFP in July and this was very unexpected but we were both elated! Then, a natural m/c about 4 weeks after finding out (something of course we never thought would happen to us.) Now, that I've been pregnant once, I want to be again more than anything! Crazy isn't it? It's only been one cycle so I'm still new at all this. What else? We live in Texas with our golden retriever DH loves to golf (if he could make a living of it he'd be a millionaire) and I teach!

I'm sorry for your loss, but welcome to the board. It's been a great support to me. The women here are some of the most compassionate and supportive women I've ever known!

I was also a teacher (well, technically I still am....I have my degree and teacher's certification in Ky)....but after cutbacks a year ago, I was laid off and ended up loving being a sahm w/my dd, and so my career is now put to the side until I've completed my family....my new career is being a sahm (and obsessed w/ttc).

Anyway, welcome!

So sorry for your loss, but welcome to the board. I think the ladies here are great and very helpful when I have a question. I'm a stay at home mom to our 16 month DS but I used to be a civil engineer. DH works at a university and is an avid hunter/fisherman. Again - welcome!

Our stories seem very similar. I am also a teacher. I got pregnant in July and had my first loss in August. It was also my first pregnancy and I also desperately want to be pregnant again.

I come to these boards often. My DH doesn't understand how I am feeling and neither do my friends so I feel like here is the only place where I get the advice that I really need and suppot.
