spontaneous for us. runs on my mom's side of family, but my hormones were crazy while i was breastfeeding my daugther and when i quit. i think that is the real reason.
Seriously??? WTF?? There is someone posting this Q every single week. What we are freaks on the bump as well - not just outside pushing that big stroller or that big belly around.

Suck it.
I think it is normal for people undergoing fertility treatment to assess their chances of conceiving multiples this way. I don't think that is a big deal since the OP is starting clomid. I just like to educate people about using the word natural.
And you will get attention everywhere and how you react to it is very important because it establishes how your kids will feel about themselves.

lol.
mine are the result of IVF - 2 embryos transferred and both stuck.

Why do you view it as if you are a "freak"? If you think people are viewing you as a freak, then you are risking self-esteem issues with your LO, in my opinion. I think we are special and wonderful people for being blessed with multiples.
I don't get offended if someone asks me if my babies are natural/spontaneous or the result of treatment. Especially when someone is about to start treatment. What I don't like are the people asking how to get pregnant with twins because they really want them.
To answer the OP, my girls are spontaneous identical twins.
Ours were spontaneous due to a failed attempt at family planning. L was only 4 months old. So I also think mine were due to how fertile I was after just giving birth a few months prior.
to the OP - i think you get the whole "say spontaneous" thing - and that even then many women don't like to be asked.
if you are asking b/c you are starting clomid- realize that most women who get pg with clomid do NOT have multiples- but those of us on this board all have for the most part- so it's kind of silly to ask on here... would make more sense to ask on SAIF of those pg from clomid how many have singletons and how many have multiples.... will give you a much better answer to what i think you are curious about.
FWIW- both my singleton and my twins pg's were from clomid. Took one cycle for Griffin and two cycles to get the twins (2 yrs later)

good luck to you!
Your children are very very cute!!! We have tried the clomid route, no ovulation so the RE is thinking injectibles starting dec/jan

I'm guessing from her siggy that she's asking because she's starting Clomid so I think it's a valid question not just some weirdo being nosey.
I don't find any of this offensive. I love talking about how my pregnancy was and my "miracle babies" as I like to call them. Ours were a complete surprise as we were not trying to get pregnant. I wish you tons of luck!!!
Re: how many multiple mommas out there..
My babies are 100% natural...we've had 11 u/s and there are no synthetic parts or organs
The word you mean is spontaneuos, not natural.
I used follistim and B2B IUIs.
All babies are natural. This question gets ask alot, here:

IVF
2 embies went in, 2 babies came out!
Ours were spontaneous.
Ditto.
Ugh.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Spontaneous for us.
Ours were spontaneous. One of them is natural but I think that other one is made of synthetics.

Natural...honeymoon miracles, and quite the surprise indeed!

OUrs were totally spontaneous (unexpected in any way) I have no history of twins in my family, so it was a total surprise!
And maybe this is just me, but none of these questions really bother me. I love talking about my babies and being pregnant with twins, its exciting!
SO offensive. People get offended when they are asked if their hair color is "natural". What makes you think it is okay to ask us if our children are?
