  I am now!

  I've been working on a "vampire" novel for years, but i never had a good plot. So now I'm trying to subvert the whole twilight thing that's everywhere now, mostly by having  a strong female protagonist. 

   

  Maybe pick a genre that you like, but you dont like what's being done in it and subvert it, I'm big on subversion.
