ugh. Smoking while pregnant.. both of my sisters did it and I was disgusted every single time i saw.
i used to be a smoker, from the age of 12 to 28. I quit the day my DH said he wanted to have a baby and never looked back. it's been almost 2 years now!
Id say it's worst than getting Wal-Mart Furniture for your LO.
Because Wal-Mart furniture is bad?
Haha I'm guessing you missed this post...NO Wal-mart Furniture isn't bad...We actually have the 3 piece set from there lol...Some girl posted on here that Furniture from Wal-Mart meant you loved your baby less
Yea bad mommy I am. I smoked 2 whole cigs yesterday because I had a craving and wanted to. I am an adult. I quit smoking years ago. Call CPS. At least I can admit to it. I can almost promise that those who have had that craving have done so also but are to afraid to admit it.
I don't have a savior complex for D9. I would do it for anyone that was picked on regularly.
You can post all you want about me. You see it doesn't matter. Some people's BIGGEST punishment in life is being themselves. You all that bully prove that daily on here.

Congrats! It's great that you quit. I've known a few people who quit cold turkey and I'm proud of all of them for having the will power to stick with their plan. Good job.

Is the "2 whole cigs" thing supposed to downplay it or something? You don't sound like an adult; you sound like a child who's being willfully rebellious and preening about it.
As an adult, you can control your "cravings." And you should. Grow the fcuk up - "other people do it too!!!" is not an excuse.

WRONG. And a very rude assumption to make. Some people have a stronger will power than to succumb to every little temptation.
I normally watch all of these posts from the sidelines, but this one is amazing to me.

True: you are an adult. But you also have a responsibility to that child to ACT like an adult. You obviously did NOT quit smoking years ago...see your actions yesterday as a prime example. I know that a lot of people do this, but the lemming mentality ("everyone else is doing it") doesn't make it right. I'm not trying to be preachy, and I'm not trying to be a biitch, but I don't understand why you'd put your LO at risk like that. I honestly hope you can stay away from any further smoking and I do wish you luck in REALLY quitting someday.

WRONG!!! I have a major craving for a cigarette but I have not smoked anything while pregnant. I quit 3 months before I became pregnant & I wouldn't dare smoke now. Your baby's health should be your main concern, not your selfish craving.
Two cigs, a half a glass of wine, sushi, H1N1 shot with mercury, etc. to some the risks of these things are acceptable to them. I am not going to judge.
Re: I got my ass flamed off for trying to skip an appt, yet we have a SMOKER
I'm not really tiptoeing around it, but she looks like trailer trash to me, so I kind of expect it from her.

ahahaha, nice.
LOLOL!!
You apparently missed yesterday.
?
I find it odd that she smokes while carrying her unborn child, yet she has a savior complex with DianeN9.
?
No... buying furniture at Wal-Mart is waaaay worse. You are just a horrible sub par mother. LOL
And she openly welcomed the flames, too.
To smoke not one but TWO cigarettes in one day? Why not just go ahead an do a bump of coke while you're at it?
Again, my siggy button comes in handy. . . .
But is it worse than CraigsList furniture?? LOL!!
It's sarcasm, she's making fun of another bumpie who said wal-mart furniture is unsafe and not good enough for her LO.

Oh ok, thanks... I was like what the hell? My crib came from Wal-Mart lol... but it was one of the more expensive brands lol
Hey hey now...I already reported YOU to social services lady!!! Don't make me do it again

This thread reminds me of an email I received yesterday:
ETA: Notice cig in hand...
OMG, I almost died reading this.
At least I had enough will power to put the crack pipe down. So I rewarded myself with the cigs instead.
Ummm. NO. I have not had a cigarette since about one month before my BFP. There is NO wway that I would do that to my baby.
btw: it's too afraid to admit it.
