okay I did post this on the 3rd tri board so sorry if you already have read this.
Was wondering if you all wanted to suggest names for my little girl. I like different not so common names. Anyone? I have looked all around and have found nothing that sticks out to me. Suggestions would be awesome! Thank you in advance!
My favorite girl's name is Calliope (Cah-lie-oh-pee) or Callie for short. IRL I have not met another one. In entertainment this is Callie's name from Gray's Anatomy. When Arizona said it in the show I thought it was really pretty. I already loved the name Callie so this quickly became my favorite name.
Cassiopea is another one that's different without being too out there. You can call her Cassie. Someone just posted this on my local board. I knew one in elementary school but haven't met another since then.
NameBerry.com would be a great resource for you for other name ideas.
I know a lot of people hate this name, but some people like it and where I am it's not common at all (although it seems to be popular in other areas), but what about Neveah? If it's not what you want, than that is fine, but it's a suggestion anyway!

Anyhow, my daughter's name is Shyla and I LOVE it...We call her Lyla (which I love),
but sotwo other names that I like and I don't think are so common (I like not so common names too) Arissa (and not Ari for short...either stay Arissa or Rissa) andSerene.
We almost used the name Cordelia for DD#2 w/ Delia as a nickname, but I couldn't ge DH to agree the nickname). I love the name though and it's NEVER been on the top 100 list!
When I was shopping at a store I heard a mom talk to her daughter and the daughters name was Elarie, kind of like Valerie...but when I brought that name up to DBF he said it rhymed with celery and it was out..lol. I still love it.

I love this name. A good friend from high school used it. Her other kids are Owen and Sawyer. Different names, but cute. And she's kind of on the 'hippy' order of things so it works for her. Super sweet girl with super sweet kids
I also knew a little girl named Cairo and she was the sweetest little girl ever!!!!
