I have noticed today I have an achy pain in both ovary's but sometimes just in my left. Is this normal? I am just worried about having a tubal pregnancy or miscarriage. I know I am being panicky for nothing but I just need some reassurance.
First, congratulations!! Second, try to relax and stay positive. I know it's hard, as awful things went through my head when I found out, but try to think positive. There are a lot of changes happening with your body right now. You will be feeling pains and twinges that you would have ignored before!
At my first appointment (almost 7 weeks), my doctor told me that a cyst developed on my left ovary. She said this was very common when women get pregnant and that if I feel pain on my left side it was more than likely the cyst.
When is your first appointment? If the pain continues, maybe they can squeeze you in sooner?? GL!
Achey is normal. Pain in your ovaries could be a cyst, but they are pretty normal and usually go away. Worry if the pain is severe or is accompanied by bleeding.
I am 3w6d as well and every little twinge and pinch is making me nervous as well. I think it is normal as long as it is not severe, but like pp said, if you are concerned don't hesitate to call the doc.
I got blood work this morning and go back tomorrow to fill out all of the paper work. The nurse said that my doctor doesn't usually see patients until 10-12 weeks but I am going to tell her tomorrow how I am feeling. Maybe they will see me sooner.
I have been having that on and off. At first my doctor thought I might be tubal, so I had an early u/s to make sure that everything was where it was supposed to be (and it was nice to get the early u/s for dating purposes!)
Call your doctor and talk about your concerns, see if you can get an early u/s just to ease your mind.
