Baby Names

Rare baby girl names?

okay I did post this on the  3rd tri board so sorry if you already have read this.

Was wondering if you all wanted to suggest names for my little girl.  I like different not so common names.  Anyone?  I have looked all around and have found nothing that sticks out to me.  Suggestions would be awesome!  Thank you in advance!

  • My favorite girl's name is Calliope (Cah-lie-oh-pee) or Callie for short.  IRL I have not met another one.  In entertainment this is Callie's name from Gray's Anatomy.  When Arizona said it in the show I thought it was really pretty.  I already loved the name Callie so this quickly became my favorite name.

Cassiopea is another one that's different without being too out there.  You can call her Cassie.  Someone just posted this on my local board.  I knew one in elementary school but haven't met another since then.

NameBerry.com would be a great resource for you for other name ideas.

Nora, Chloe, Sadie, Ayla, Sadie, Nia, Thalia, Sheridan, Shelby, Simone.

Chloe is in the top 10 most popular names for girls.  So not really "rare".  But I LOVE the name Thalia!

  • Eirian, Ilona, Livika
  • I know a lot of people hate this name, but some people like it and where I am it's not common at all (although it seems to be popular in other areas), but what about Neveah?  If it's not what you want, than that is fine, but it's a suggestion anyway!

Here are some names of kids I've taught/coached.  Most of these are a little too out there for me, but hey someone out there might like them:  Tavia, Sayla, Saben, McCall, Brighton, Tatum, Jaylnn, Aspen, Makell, Markelle, Cambry, Skylar, Larken, Kaybree, Malia, Brylee, Brinley, Clarin, Danalee, Starrah, Hadley, Hi-D, Janae, Janalese, Jillair, Paris, Remy, Adera, Brittan, Kennedy, Brooklyn, McKinley, Taylee,  Xaina

  • I really like the name Keeley, pronouned (key-lee)
