Ants! Help me figure out what to do.

We had a massive storm a few weeks ago and ever since I had seen some scout ants cruising around our house. Well today I found a bunch in our dirty diaper bin. We use a diaper service so all of the diapers go in the bag in the bin for a week and then we put them out. Any baby-safe ideas to keep the ants out? I hate ants, we have never had an ant problem in the 5 years we've lived here.

They won't cross a line of ground clove - it's a little messy on the floor though.

Mess is OK in my book as long as it means no ants and no ant poison. Thanks!!

It won't KILL them, but it can prevent them from getting to the diaper pail. Then wipe up the trails, like with vinegar or rubbing alcohol so they don't keep following the scent trails back to the pail area.
