Last Minute Baptism Reception

So, Tess is being Baptised this weekend and with the craziness of having a newborn, we have yet to officially nail down the reception for afterwards.  I really want to have something light (like not necessarily a full meal) but we live in a second floor apartment that could not accomadate everyone (about 25 people) and a couple of people who are handicapped.  The church does not have a hall we can use, and we can't have it at the IL's (my parents are out of town).  Anyone have any ideas?  My MIL is giving us a good amount of money, so we can go to a restaurant, I just have no idea where.

  • Maybe the Craftman (Limestone Grill) in Fayetteville.  They have some separate rooms off of the main dining room and I have had breakfast there a few times, and it has been yummy.  I am pretty sure most of the restaurant/bathrooms are accessible, and right down Genesee St. from Holy Cross.

  • The Glen Loch in Jamesville does a Sunday Brunch that is very good, and they should be able to accomodate your party with such short notice.  I don't know the hours or prices anymore, but it was #13.95 per person when I worked there about 5-6 yrs ago.  The # is 469-6969
