Dr Brown's bottles

Holy confusion. Anyone use these? I've read the instructions twice and still feel intimidated. I got a bunch of these bottles as gifts, and they are compatible with my Medela PISA, so I finally dug them out of the cabinet. Are they worth the trouble?

Re: Dr Brown's bottles

  • I love them, I have no problems with them what so ever.

DS hardly spits up after using them.

     What are you confused about?

  • We use the wide necks no problems...lo has reflux they help. If you ar eplanning on using the thin bottles with your PISA I have noticed that I don't get the same suction like when I use the medela bottles. May just be my pump..but I get more milk  when I use the medela for collection.

  • I never found them to be worth the trouble. DD#1 was a SUPER gassy baby and when I switched to these, it made no difference. And they were a lot more work to wash.

  • I use them too, and have had good success with them.  My LC recommended them.  They are a pain to wash though.  What is intimidating you?
