  Update: Nothing.  Still on BCP just waiting to start stims in 11/27

  QOTD: I was very nervous about the holidays this year.  So, DH and I planned a vacation over Thanksgiving - I am so excited about it.  For Christmas, we are going to visit his family the weekend before but, DH got his on call schedule changed so that he is on call over Christmas.  He did this so we would have an excuse to stay in Houston and cherish what we hope to be our last childless Christmas - and celebrate the little one that is hopefully snuggling in at that point!  What a great man he is!!!

  So, I am feeling much better about Thanksgiving and Christmas since it will basically just be me and the hubs!

  Here's my update: DH had his TESE yesterday.  They didn't find anything with the needle so they did a biopsy.  We should hear something later today.  We will continue on with IVF using donor sperm if they don't find anything.

  As for the holidays, I have really mixed feelings.  My beta will be between the 25th and the 27th, so the holidays will either be amazing or extremely disappointing.  Just trying to stay positive today and hope for the best!

  Congratulations to my girl AmberZ! So happy for you!

  I am currently on BCP and will be starting lupron on 11/16, starting stims on 11/28.

   I am happy for the holidays this year beause it will make the time fly by faster. Nobody knows what we have been going through except for my parents, I am so thankful for that. We always have Christmas dinner at our house with all of our parents (mine are divorced and remarried) and siblings. I normally make a huge fancy dinner but this year I am going to tone it down. Our beta should be right around Christmas so either way I will not be in any mood to do all of that work on Christmas morning. I wish it could be just DH and I but it will never be that way. I am nervous about my dad coming because they can stress me out sometimes, nevermind if I am hormonal- should be interesting!

  Can I please be added to the IVF list?  We are starting IVF in January (and I am excited and terrified at the same time).

  QOTD:  I am not excited for the holidays because even though I love being with family, etc. (and especially love that we will get to spend time with our nieces and nephews), it means fielding more questions and feeling a little like a fish out of water (we are the only childless couple that will be there)!

  Also, I don't think I want to tell anyone about IVF in January because I think it will just mean even more questions (which to be honest are painful to answer).  n the bright side though, I am genuinely excited to see everyone anyway.

  QOTD: Thanksgiving will be rather sucky since I have to work seriously Friday, Saturday and Sunday following it. I'm not sure how we're going to handle our family stuff, since everyone is in town and we're expected to make an appearance. Christmas I don't know yet. I hate having to schedule our families for the holidays. There are times I just want to move out of state so we don't have to drive to see everybody (we're in the middle location-wise.. everyone is 1-2 hours from us.) We're always exhausted after the holidays from all the driving around.

  Update: Not too much to say. Impatient. Paranoid. I need to call the RE because I missed the call yesterday because I was with a customer when my phone rang, and I only have enough PIO for two more days so I need more.

  update - i have soooo much hope invested in this cycle.  at the current moment i am feeling like, this is it, it's going to work.  and THAT scares me.  I've never had hope like this. . . the higher you go, the further you have to fall.  and that scares me a lot.  So i'm trying to ignore that and focus on my hope!  and what's silly is that I still have 2 weeks before FET!  this is going to be one crazy november!

  QOTD - I can not wait for teh holidays.  it's my favorite time of year.   we are actually decorating for christmas next weekend - very early for us (typically thanksgiving weekend) but DH doesn't want me decorating during the 2ww.  i'm not complaining.  I can't wait to be on bed rest in my christmasy home

  QOTD:  My feelings towards the holidays right now are so mixed. I will probably be on edge throughout Thanksgiving time knowing that I can't test yet. I'm trying to stay hopeful and think positive that this Christmas will be our best yet, but if my results are negative then I will truly be dreading the holiday season.

  Update:  A cyst was found on my right ovary at yesterdays suppression check, so I will be going back Thursday morning to have it checked out further. Otherwise I am starting my first Follistim injection on Friday!!!

  I'm so pins-and-needles for this year it's not even funny... I'm guessing that my beta will be sometime between 12/27-12/29, based on a tentative ER of 12/15....  there's the slimmest of chances an HPT will be positive on christmas... if I have the balls to test before my beta.

  Morning!

  Omega - GL!  I hope you get good news today. Waiting to get the results was awful. ((hugs))

  DH and I both started our antibiotics and I have less than a week until I start Lupron.  I love that we are to the point that we are doing something

   QOTD: I am excited for the time off work - but I'll probably have my first beta a few days before Christmas, so it could be really good or really bad.  I was hoping to visit my family this year, but I don't think we'll have the money, and I'm not sure I'll want to travel that far so close to the beta.....

  I hate that so many things are affected by IF!

  Update on me: ET was Saturday. We transferred 2 embryos (a 6 cell and a 7 cell). Beta is 11/14. I am not sure how I am feeling. Hopeful and scared sums it up I guess.

  QOTD: I am not ready for the holidays. I saw a Wal-Mart Christmas commercial last night and thought "too early!". Of course once Christmas Day passes I get wistful for it to happen all over again. We are heading to my mom's for Christmas and as all of my siblings are childless, it will be very easy.

  Good luck to all those cycling. Congrats to BFPs!! Keep them coming. Huge hugs to those who need them.

  Update: I can be moved into the between cycles list.  After switching RE's my doctor wanted to start from scratch.  I'm now waiting for AF and then will start with IVF #2.

  QOTD: I love the holidays so I'm excited regardlesss.  Both our families are local so we don't do any traveling.

  QOTD- I'm not really looking forward to the holidays this year, thanksgiving we will be running between both families . I usually host Xmas but I don't have it in me, this fall/winter I'm passing by my 1st 2 due dates from my 1st losses of the year. I'm trying to figure out a way to boycott. Congrats to all our BFP's and GL to The upcoming ER's. Hopefully I'll have a FET update to share soon.

  QOTD: Well, we will be in Colorado for IVF#3 over Turkey day. We are supposed to spend X-mas with DH's family. But his sister will be there 6 month pg with twins - the first grandkids. So I am trying HARD to convince DH to spend X-mas with my family. I am currently on BCP and Lupron.

  Update: AF should be showing up somewhere between Friday-Sunday.  Once AF shows I will be starting bcps.  Consult 11/16. Very excited to get IVF#1 under way

   

  QOTD:  I get very excited about the holidays. Probably the most exciting for me is the weekend after Thanksgiving.  We go shopping on Black Friday & cut down our Christmas tree & decorate the house. I think most of the time being busy helps me to keep my mind off of everything with IF.

  Update: I am stimming now for IVF#2 (antagonist protocol). Yesterday was first estradiol check; Today was first follicle check. If all goes well will have ER and ET next week, I think.

  QOTD:  I love Thankgiving so I am looking forward to it.  Of course, my beta will be a few days before it so I could change my mind.  Our family knows what is going on, my niece and nephew are 13 and 11 so not babies, and DH's family is not local so it isn't too stressful for us.

  My sister and her husband just booked a trip to visit for a few days after xmas so that will be something to look forward to.

  Update: Anxiously awaiting to hear how my donor is doing...should be tomorrow.  I had my lining check on Saturday and everything was "great".  They didn't have to adjust my meds.

  Congrats to the recent BFPs, good luck to the ERs/ETs/2wwers, and hugs to those that need them.

  October was a great month for our board and I hope November brings much of the same!!

  QOTD: I LOVE the holidays and all of the festive things that go along with them.  DH and I are staying in Chicago for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will still cook holiday dinner and people can drop by if they wish, but for the most part it will be us and our furbaby- Anderson Cooper.

  Update: I am still taking bcps which I am so read to terminate! I think that is the worst part of IVF cycling, I envy those that don't have to take them. I can't wait to start stims on Nov. 27th.  I will find out my protocol this afternoon so I might be taking Lupron again this cycle, if so that will start on Nov. 10th.

   Update: None..Still plugging away with the BCP last week thought!! So the end is in sight..seems like I have been doing this forever. My new box of meds arrived last week and next DR apt is Nov 13th. I am a little anxious about this new Antagonist protocal.

  I am a little bumbed out about the holidays this year. DH and I had planned to go home to MA for Thanksgiving b/c I have my 10 year reunion this year but that was cancled due to our third round of IVF. ET and ER will be during the week of Thanksgiving. I hate being away from home...We had already planned to not go home for XMASS cause DH has a Football game that Sunday and with Orange Bowl, Pro-Bowl and SUperbowl right around the corner he is going to be working like crazy.  We also would get our BETA right around the 11th of December. So, maybe if it good news I will make a trip up north to Boston the week before XMASS. I have been feeling homesick the last few weeks, I just think it is the lack of seasons changing that makes me want to be home.

  Update: Anxiously waiting for sono on Friday to see how this little bean is doing.  It's been growing, but seems to be a week behind.  Grow LO, Grow!!

  I need to get added to the list. I am waiting for AF (hopefully around 11/10) to start Lupron and stims. Expect to be ER right around Turkey Day.

  As for me, I don't feel anything about the holidays this year. We usualy take a family vacation for Thanksgiving, but my cycle cancelled it for this year.... so maybe around Christmas... if I can take any days off work.

   

  3 yrs ttc, 3ivfs, 4 iuis and finally a baby boy! And then a girl to follow. 2 under 2!

  Update:  Beta is less than 2 so as soon as AF shows we are game on for FET#3.  

  QOTD:  I'm excited. I am just not going to let all of these struggles ruin another holiday for me.   

  Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN. FET #4 BFP after removing bilateral hydrosalpinx and 3 months of lupron depot. Sticky Bun is here!!

  Congrats to the BFPs!!

  Update:  I can be moved to the stimming list.  Started last night with the Follistim Lupron Fare again for IVF#3.  We are going back to the protocol we tried first, since I did at least produce some follies that time.
  

  QOTW:  Not sure how I feel about the Holidays - there's so much work to do to prepare for them and these meds are making me so tired and ill.  I'm sure I'd feel better about them if this cycle is successful!

  Update: Still in the 2ww. I go for my beta on Friday. I'm not testing beforehand this time. I'm not hopefull at all. Now I'm trying to figure out whether to do another cycle before I see a new doctor in 2.5 weeks. Sigh.

  I?ll be on meds at Thanksgiving and due to go in for the IVF/ICSI procedure the week after Thanksgiving. All I want for Christmas is a BFP! I?m always excited about this time of year, it won?t be as big money wise but that?s ok all I need is a real tree and my family! I?m hoping to have good feelings at Christmas time.

  AFM: I?m on BCP, Metformin and Antibiotic just waiting for our first monitoring visit to the specialist on Nov 17^th or 18^th to get the IVF/ICSI cycle rolling.

  UPDATE:  Just got back from the Dr's. appt and my U/S tech thinks I should be going in on Thursday from my ER...so tonite I should be triggering.  So excited!!! 

  QOTD:  I'm excited about the Holidays this year because my older brother is back in our lives and I'm very grateful for this.  We had a falling out with him YEARS ago and now he is back and re-married to a wonderful woman who fits into our family pefectly.  BUT I'm also scared financial that this Christmas is going to be a little on the small side for my step-kids. Oh well they are old enough to know that money does not grow on trees.

  Update: Technically between cycles now. Just had procedure to relief OHSS this morning and feel a MILLION times better.

  QOTD: I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving because it's also my birthday! It's nice to see my extended family on my birthday since we really only all get together once or twice a year. We'll hopefully be doing our first FET the week of Christmas or the week after, so I'm looking forward to getting ready for that as well.

  Update: We had 3 embryos transferred yesterday.  They were a 5-cell, and 6-cell, and an 8-cell.  The 6-cell had uneven cell development, and the 8-cell was fertilized on day 2, so our dr. recommended transferring all 3.  My beta is 11/13.

  QOTD: I am dreading the holidays.  I'm not feeling very hopeful about this cycle, and I'm already bracing myself for how difficult the holidays will be if this doesn't work.  Our plan is just to not do much for the holidays this year, just take it easy and not do cards, etc.

  QOTD: I'm really conflicted right now. If this IVF works, I think the holidays will be a wonderful, happy time. If not, I know I'll be devastated and I don't know how I will handle it. It will be our fourth Christmas since starting TTC.

  I'm sort of indifferent to the holidays.  I'll be in the middle of my IVF cycle with my Beta falling somewhere really close to Christmas.  My last EDD is next Friday (the 13th) so that makes turkey day hard. I thought I'd have a baby to celebrate with...

  updates: got my big box o'meds today. wow. just wow.  I'm starting lupron on Sunday. Have my mock tranfer, couseling and calendar meeting all on Thursday so I'm excited to be moving forward .
