Total BRU Steal

On Saturday DH and I went to BRU to pick up a few of the things that were still left on our registry. We hadn't gotten our completion coupon yet, so we asked if we could get one while we were there. Not only did they give it to us, but we got 15% instead of 10% because the store was located across the street from a Buy Buy Baby.  PLUS, they gave us 15% off everything we decided to purchase that day (not just registry items), so we did another 2 laps around the store and stocked up!

In the end, after discounts, coupons and gift cards, we got $300 worth of merchandise for $50!! Score!

Since that BRU is located so close to Buy Buy Baby, they also told us that they are now accepting Buy Buy Baby AND Bed Bath and Beyond coupons. FYI for any of you that have BRUs and BBBs located in close proximity. You should ask about their competitive offers.

    LOL, we felt like the people in that Ikea commerical where the woman runs out of the store screaming "Start the car!!!" because she thought the prices were a mistake.

    That's awesome!  Although if I lived near a Buy Buy Baby there's no way I'd ever step foot in a BRU, they are so awful in comparison.  But for a great deal like that I wouldn't be complaining!  I wonder if BBB has the same deal.

    I need to find some bed bath and beyond coupons before I go back to BRU after my showers!

    My dilemma is... BRU with higher sales tax (9%) located near a Buy Buy Baby vs. BRU with lower sales (6.5%) not by a Buy Buy Baby...

    maybe I'll end up calling the one with lower sales tax and ask if they accept Buy Buy Baby/ Bed Bath Beyond coupons.
