Crib Tent or any other suggestions for climbers......

Have you used the crib tent? (used to prevent your toddler from crawling out of their crib) What did your child think of it? Did it scare them? Any other suggestions for keeping them safe in their crib?
My son is 16mos and I don't think I could get him to stay in a toddler bed yet. Looking for suggestions on keeping him in his crib.

we have the boys in crib tents. we put oliver's on first, and i won't lie, he was scared of it for the first couple of nights. but now (and his brothers) love to help us zip them up. we made it a fun game for him, instead of making it seem like punishment.

here's miles in his tent. he has a higher-backed crib (the graco lauren) so we had to rig it a little bit. if you have regular (not convertible) cribs, it'll work a lot better. if the back is the same height as the back, KWIM?

We love our cribtent, it has been a lifesaver. DS has gotten very attached to it, and we got one for travel with out pnp. They are greater, our ds was climbing out and i feared transfer to a regular bed, but now we will do this as long as humanly possible, like till college!

my older DD climbed out of the crib at 15.5 months and I wasn't sold on using a crib tent--they make me super nervous for some reason...we opted to try out a full size bed...that was in March and she has been in a bed ever since! I never thought she would do as well as she has--she is crazy during the day and never ever stops moving but she is awesome in her bed...he might suprise you...
