I think I need cleaning lessons.

I seriously don't know if I'm doing something wrong because it takes me 20 years to do what a cleaning lady does in an hour and all I feel like I do is push dirt around.

    Your cleaning lady does not have the distractions that you find in your own house...like a toddler, the phone, bills, a good magazine, etc.  They can just plow through from task to task.  It can take me all day to clean the house when my daughter is home, but when she is at school or with DH out of the house I can get it sparkling in less than 2 hours.

    I'm talking about the times I clean and DS isn't there and I've set time aside to do nothing but clean.  I still find it takes for-freaking-ever.

    I don't know if it's just me, but I'm REALLY into cleaning right now. We've gotten A LOT done in the past two weeks! Cleaning out the nursery closet tomorrow.

    Oh well idk I take my time cleaning every little speck of dirt I can find and it takes me about 2-3 hours...How long is it taking you?

    Took me two hours to clean my master bathroom tonight and almost two and a half hours to clean the kitchen (and I didn't even scrub the floor as well as I wanted to).  I'm telling you, I think I'm doing something wrong.

    It takes me that long too! It takes me so long I have a schedule set up to clean one room per day next week. I like to scrub down everything really throughly and I also have a little ADD so i get a bunch of tasks going at once then have to run around finishing them up. It really sucks but its just the only way it works for me lol So I understand what your saying, and I have no idea how they do it!
