His first Halloween (his mommy's most favoritest holiday) and he doesn't have a costume. There is only ONE costume I've found that would fit him and its a pea pod... and I just don't like it. We are getting ready to head out to some places we never looked JUST IN CASE... but my boy NEEDS a costume. Does anyone know of any simple patterns I could look for and sew up tomorrow? A simple bunting would be fine... he just needs SOMETHING.

Re: I feel terrible for DS...

And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
A bunny?
mouse?
devil?
Ariel is crossdressing as Max from Where the Wild Things Are.
White one piece jumper (ours is white and gray striped but it will do)
Piece of remnant fur from the fabric store for a tail
Cardboard (like from a shirt box) cut into a crown and painted yellow or gold.
LOVE the Max idea!
i made DS's monkey costume from a brown sweatsuit, with brown felt ears and tail. (i stuffed them with polyfill, but you could totally skip that). Same idea for almost any animal: dog, cat, mouse, bear, etc. I thought of making a bat costume out of a black shirt: sew "wings" under the arms, and put ears on a black hudson hat.
Pumpkin: find an orange shirt or outfit. Make a quick orange hat with green seams and put a little brown or green stem/leaves at the top.
Devil = red hoodie with pointy ears, add a pointy tail. (carry a little pitchfork)
