Re: Do you use kissaluvs? Come in...

  • Since your baby is already 9/10 pounds, I wouldn't spend a lot - I would get prefolds and a couple covers.

For PFs, try Green Mountain Diapers.  For covers, try Thirsties.

I still need to post my review of this diaper ... will do after this post.
I like these a lot, but I think pockets are probably more versatile.  These dipes are actually bulkier on my 10.5 lb DD than my BG pockets!

We've had much success with our prefolds and covers....if you're only wanting something short term until she fits into the BG...go with something economical.  I have kissaluv contours and they're ok...prefolds work just the same, wash up better and are much less expensive.

can I clean the prefolds and colvers the same way as the BG (im assuming yes) and of course together...

are they pretty user friendly as in my husband can use them and not feel like hes doing something wrong.

Yes I wash all my diapers and covers together; I do not dry my covers, I line dry...everything else goes in the dryer.

My husband always reaches for a prefold, we haven't stocked up on our BG's yet, but he's a pro at folding the diapers.  The EFF blog has a great tutorial on all different diaper folds.  I believe we use the newspaper fold, it catches all the BF poop and we rarely have leaks onto the cover.  HTH!

  • I think GMD are spendy and overpriced. If you're not going to use them for a long time go with cottonbabies.com brand. They work great.
