ugh 2 days overdue and so sore!

last night was the worst. people say, "get your sleep now" but my belly and uterus hurts...my crotch is sore, It is hell to turn over from one side to the other side in bed. this morning i woke up with sore hips! like that weird burning feeling your muscles get when you've been in one position too long...

 but no flipping contractions. not even braxton hicks. just a dull, sore pain. :(

    Hey there Sunshine!  You and me are in the exact same boat.  2 days overdue here as well although this morning I felt better than yesterday (I'm sure I just jinxed it now by saying that) but yeah, the constant soreness is no fun.  I have been getting contractions here and there, but I'm not getting too excited because there's no pattern to them.  *sigh*  Did your doc give you an induction date yet?

    so far i haven't been too keen on induction...but i have an appoitment on Monday 40 weeks, 5 days, and we'll discuss options then.... we'll see how i feel or how i'm doing!

    I feel the same way.  I'm not sleeping at all and when I need to turn over or get up from bed, it hurts SO bad.  My hips are killing me.  Plus, I haven't had one contraction nor any progress.  I sit on the couch wishing for the "real pain" to start so that we can get this show on the road!

    I'm not keen on it either but am worried that waiting too long might result in a c-section that I really don't want.  Baby is BIG.  If we go by my last sono and normal fetal weight gain rates, my baby's about 9lbs right now and I'm not the biggest girl in the world. 

    I've been scheduled for the 9th which I'm not too happy about but it turns out that my OB's office only induces on Mondays.  *sigh*

    I was in your shoes just a couple days ago.  DD decided to show up almost one week late!  Hang in there....just a little bit longer to go!  :)

    DITTO.  You'd be amazed at how much worse it can get!  All of a sudden - last 4 or 5 days, I can't get comfortable EVER.  Not sitting up, not laying down, not standing, not sitting on the floor or the couch or a chair.  I can't lay on my back or my sides.  It's like a messed up Dr. Seuss book.
