If my DH volunteered to do the dishes, I wouldn't care WHEN they got done. Her trying to tell him when he should be doing something makes it sound like she's treating him like a child and is a controlling b!tch.

she needs to relax a little. sounds like he was going to get them done, who cares when. pick your battles.
The guy's not a mind reader...she should have just asked him to do the dishes! THat was a loooot of text about a small issue IMO.
Also--blue--love the title of this post. made me giggle a little. I like the word nugget.

The best part of that horrendous post is her siggy, which reads "Married to the love of my life."
In our house- we dont have chores set for each of us. We both have things we dont ENJOY doing, but as far as doing them- one of us will do what needs to be done. If I get home and dishes need to be put away, i do it. If I dont feel like it, DH will do them or I'll get to them later.
There are so many bigger things to worry about than dishes. She needs to relax.

I'm really lucky that my H and I split most of the domesticated activities. Last night my we were discussing house cleaning and he said that he wished I'd develop a laundry addiction. I laughed and told him fat chance.

I actually feel for the girl. DH and I have been in many fights over the dishes
Wow...so not a big deal. My DH and I probably would have just put the dishes in the sick and worried about them in the morning anyways. Sometimes we are so lazy together
