DH and I keep wavering back and forth on finding out or not finding out the gender. I know it would be an awesome surprise, but we are both such planners. We have a while to decide, just curious if anyone else was leaning towards team green?

Re: Anyone planning on being Team Green?
Me too! Thank goodness I'll have one GP mama to find out around 20 weeks. Synch and LouRN are team green! I want to know now!
We are not finding out, it is just too much fun!! It will give me something to push for, plus my DH loves the idea of walking out into the waiting room and telling everyone!! It's great to see everyone reaction to the gender. My sister in law didn't find out and it was so much fun waiting for find out who we were about to meet...
Good luck and happy pregnancy!!
We are on Team Green. We wavered back and forth last time, and ended up not finding out. As PP stated, there was something so special about finding out at the time of delivery.
DH had originally wanted to find out with #1, but left it to me to choose. This time, I asked if he wanted to find out, and he said no. I think that says a lot about how we both viewed waiting.
Hellz no.
I prefer gender stereotyping...I need to know if I need a pink nursery and dolls or a blue nursery and soft sports toys.
We were on team green for DD, and we loved it!
I told DH that I've been surprised enough already this pregnancy. We'll likely be finding out.
Team Green all the way.
I'm sure as it gets closer to my 20wk sono, i'll want to know but DH will not let me since I've made it clear that I want to be surprised. He has a ton more will power than I do. I also figured if everything is smooth, it will be ONE day of temptation when we have that sono.
I'm looking forward to the big surprise.
My BFP Chart
Team Green here, too!!!
Isn't the surprise half the fun?
Team Green! DH and I already disagree on what it will be, so the next 6 months should be fun! I see a major bet in my future.
Plus, in terms of nursery decor/clothes, we're planning on getting gender neutral stuff so we can use it with future babies.
DD1 born 5/24/10.
Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.
DD2 born 5/14/13.
Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.
We're on Team Green! I really want my husband to have that moment of telling our parents "It's a girl (or a boy)!" I usually hate surprises, but I really want to wait in this case. Plus I think it'll be a great motivator when I'm too tired for those last few pushes!
I never wanted to know, DH would like to but is fine with what I decide.
We are waiting. We are also keeping our name ideas from the family too. That way they find out everything in the hospital. The name, the sex. I can't wait!
DH wants to know, his reasoning is 'if you can find out, why not...its going to be a surprise if you find out now, or at delivery'
I don't want to find out, if/when we have a 2nd we will likely find out, just so we know if we need to buy anything else
Team Green over here too!
My BIL and SIL tried to find out the sex of their baby about a month ago... the u/s tech said boy and the doc said girl so they still don't know. haha... I guess they're team green by force!
We are Team Green all the way. Neither one of us care for gender stereotyping and didn't want an all blue/pink baby shower. There is also plenty of cute baby gear out there that would be nice for a boy or girl, so it isn't that hard to find things that we like. We also have a pretty extensive list of names for either gender, so it's not like finding a name will be difficult...
For me, I think the idea of DH being able to break the news to me and our families is fantastic. That will be an awesome moment for him and I definitely want him to have it. He obviously isn't as connected to the pregnancy as I am, so any way that involves him in all of the excitement is a huge plus!
I asked DH this the other night..
DH - I want to find out so I can start planning
Me - Planning for what exactly?
DH - whether I need to save up for a wedding (girl) or a bad ass car/truck (boy)
Me - Oh geez!
So I guess we will be finding out!
