important to break in the stroller?

i read months ago that its important to practice opening and closing the stroller just so it isnt stiff once you have the baby and have to do things one handed... is this crazy talk? Really im just wanting an excuse to put together the stroller lol

Put the darn thing together!! I don't think it needs to be "broken in" but it certainly can't hurt for you to familiarize yourself with it so you are comfortable using it.

We put it together so we knew how it functions, that the parts were all intact since it'll be 2 months between when we got it and when we'll use it for the first time, and so it's one less thing to do when he comes.

put it together! Actually now that you mention it, I should put mine together. I got 2 - one is the stroller frame for the car seat and the other one is an actual stroller. We put one together but not the other. Hmmm, we'll take care of that tonight!

I practiced opening, closing and putting the carseat in the stroller, but only so I wouldn't be struggling to figure it out once LO was born, not b/c I thought it might be stiff.
