Married 5/31/08 * TTC#1 9/09 - 2/11 after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
#2 EDD 2/5/13 dx with anti-BIG E antibody, seeing a MFM
I don't take one single minute for granted.
I think of a girl's name because I have always liked it for a girl, but I realize it was traditionally a boys name. I have scratched out all names that could go for either. I want it to be a definitive girl or boy name. Just one of my things. I do like the name though, and it's one I would probably make an exception for, except my husband doesn't like it.
Missed miscarriage discovered at 16 weeks on 10/11/10. Baby measuring 12 weeks. Natural miscarriage 10/12/10. We will miss you forever.
Chemical pregnancy on June 2012.
Girl, but that's because my friend's DD is named Quinnlan. BUT funny story, she was told her DD was going to be a boy... so Quinnlan was his name. HE came out a SHE and they were so surprised! But they chose to keep Quinnlan and call her Quinn for short... and let me tell you, I can't picture her with any other name.
Mom to J (10), L (4), and baby #3 arriving in July of 2015
Boy name that is turning unisex. Dr. Quinn--that was her last name. I only know boys named Quinn IRL but that's John Edwards' love child's middle name, and she is a girl.
i think it's a go either way name, but I think it would be cuter for a girl. I also think of Dr Quinn medicine woman lol. i loved that show though, and i like the name Quinn.
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months.
Boy. Mainly because I come from a very Irish background and it's an Irish boys name. Historically the Quinn clan is known as worriors and they made weapons for several centuries, so to the Irish it has a very William Wallace-like association. I think anybody who isn't Irish or from an Irish area might concider it unisex, but I know she'd get teased relentlessly in some of the Irish neighborhoods I grew up in, so I wouldn't do it.
Taylor is adorable.
