Are you happy with it? dd goes to preschool at the college 3 mornings a week, ds will start the same schedule in the 2 -3 y/o room in the spring (dd is in the 3-4y/o class). dd will go full time prek there next year, and ds will go 3 full days next year. happy, yes. we get a hefty discount, she is educated with specialists in early childhood care/psych/ed, has a low student to teacher ratios. has grad students as teacher's assistants (2 sweet women who are there all year, plus her teacher for 12 students). I work nights, so I can sleep while they are at school or when dh can watch 'em. I'm tired. but oh well, was anyway. my dd broke me. pree twice , my body is shot.

8) What is your favorite activity to do with your kids? play at the playground, read, I love going for walks with them and discovering things... My dd just explained the difference between lichen and moss to me the other day. so cute. she was right too. dh taught her that one.

5) What is your daycare arrangement. Are you happy with it? DH stays home with DD for the most part. She goes to parents' day out once a week and I'm home one week day per week. I'm fairly happy with our set up, except that money is tight.
6) What do you wear to work? Dress up? Jeans? Khakis, skirts, stuff that doesn't have to be ironed.
7) Best beauty tip: Not sure I have any great tips. I'm very low maintenance.
8) What is your favorite activity to do with your kids? Snuggling and reading books together. She also loves to "help" me cook.

4) What does your DH do? - used to be a sales manager for a construction staffing firm but he was recently laid off
5) What is your daycare arrangement. Are you happy with it? DD currently at a center 5 days a week. If DH cannot find another job within a month she will be at the center 2 days a week and at home with DH the rest of the time. I loved DD's old teacher, but she was let go a few weeks ago. I am starting to get to know her new teacher better and so far I like her. I guess right now I would say that I am OK with the arrangement.
6) What do you wear to work? Dress up? Jeans? Since I rarely have to venture outside of my office I can wear jeans every day if I choose to.

8) What is your favorite activity to do with your kids? Playing on the floor with DD. She is just now getting really good at crawling and starting to pull up.

10) Tell us something fun about yourself! DH and I got stranded in Mexico for two weeks by hurricane Wilma on our honeymoon. It was horrible at the time but makes for great stories now.

Kids are in PS M-5. DD goes until 12:30 and DS goes until 3:30. My ILs pick them up, take them home and watch them until I get home. For the most part, yes I am happy with it. The school is good, I'm glad I don't have to pay for DD to nap there anymore and my DS is doing really well with leaving at 3:30 vs. being there until 5 like he was before my ILs started picking him up. it was too long for him since he doesn't nap anymore. Yeah, I have to deal with some things I wouldn't have to b/c the ILs are involved, but I think it's good for my kids so I put up with it.

5. Daycare? Are you happy with it? We use an in-home licensed daycare on Fridays for DS #2. I drop him off after DS #1 gets on the school bus, so he is there from 9am-3:30 pm. It works out great!
6. Wear to work? Scrubs. Easy.
7. Best beauty tip? Five minute makeup routine, plus scented lotion and body sprays on days I am home. Once a week, I do put a super heavy lotion on my feet and warm up socks for a mini pedi.
8. Fave activity with kids? Dinner together on weeknights, going to church/bible school on Sundays, traveling with them to visit my parents during the summers

10) Tell us something fun about yourself! I finally got off my butt and trained for a triathalon the last 6 weeks - it was me time and I really am glad I did it. I finished in the middle of my age group. Not too bad considering I'm also 3 months pregnant.

It is especially great because I work out of my home office full time and so I can visit DD from time to time when I want. We adore Ellie's nanny and are really, really happy with our arrangement.

7) Best beauty tip: I wish I had one. Working from home has a tendency to sap my motivation to put on makeup...

7) Best beauty tip: I love to wear cute dresses, even if it's just to a casual dinner. Moving into the dresses with boots season now, but I live for sun dresses in the summer!
8) What is your favorite activity to do with your kids? I love making new foods for her to try or giving her new things at restaurants. I'm always amazed to see what she likes/dislikes.
9) Favorite quick weeknight meal: Our quickest meal is Birdseye Steamfresh. 11 minutes in the microwave, bagged salad, and some garlic bread and it makes a decent meal when we get home late or have other activities at night. We just sold our condo so we didn't cook much because we needed to keep the kitchen clean for showings!

6) What do you wear to work? Dress up? Jeans? Business casual - not too fancy since I work with people who are mostly poor, homeless. But I also dress nicely to be respectful to my patients.
7) Best beauty tip: Philosophy Oxygen Facial, OilofOlay Microderm Warming dauly scrub-thingy - it has transformed my skin. Sheer/tinted lipstick and some brown eyeliner on my upper lids makes me look great.
8) What is your favorite activity to do with your kids? Going to the Science Museum, watchig anything with a motor - planes, trains, helicopters....We go to the airport where the news helicopters take off and land. The boys go nuts.

5) What is your daycare arrangement. Are you happy with it? - DD is in preschool 5 days/week. I'm generally happy with it but have my occasional quibbles. Not sure what we'll do for the new baby yet, as DD's preschool doesn't start till age 2.
6) What do you wear to work? Dress up? Jeans? - I work from home, so I wear whatever I want... I'm in jeans right now, but have definitely worked in pajamas on multiple occasions.
7) Best beauty tip: - I saw "shower daily" above... oops, I haven't had a shower yet today. So I'm probably not the best person to ask for beauty tips. LOL! I do love getting threading done on my eyebrows. They look much better when they're under control!
8) What is your favorite activity to do with your kids? - Going to the zoo or the aquarium. Also, we all love football, so right now, I love spending Sundays just hanging out in our PJs, watching football on TV and playing with DD.

7) Best beauty tip: I freaking love Monistat Anti-chafing gel from their soothing care lines. It really helps with chafing and actually works well as a primer for makeup too.
8) What is your favorite activity to do with your kids? J is still little, but he has started to giggle when you bounce him so there has been a lot of that going on around my house
Otherwise I just love cuddling with him as much as I can.
9) Favorite quick weeknight meal: Boil red potatoes and smush them up a little bit. Brown some hamburger and add onion, worcheshire sauce, diced tomatoes and seasoning of choice. Top the potatoes with the hamburger mixture and top with a little bit of cheese. I call it hamburger/potato goulash.
10) Tell us something fun about yourself! I am a cleaning freak and get really excited when I go into the cleaning product aisle at the grocery store. If I buy a product I have to use it as soon as possible when I get home.
Oh, and when I was delivering my son I literally refused to push again until someone would get me a toothbrush so I could brush my teeth. I HAD to brush my teeth like right that second. The nurse thought I was crazy...maybe I was at that moment.

DD is sick ALL THE TIME and I don't like the room she's in right now as much as I liked the first room. Too many different teachers.

5) What is your daycare arrangement. Are you happy with it? Daycare center- we LOVE it. Griffin has been going for 2 yrs and they have been amazing. I used to be a teacher and worked in daycare- so was really picky. this place is great. Griffin will be there 3 days/week and the twins 2 days/week. The twins will be with my mom every other Wed when I work.
