I'm just so sad for him. He's an 11 year old Golden and my LIFE. They were 6 weeks apart, then 4, then 3 now 2 weeks. We've adjusted his meds but we think the brain tumor is just getting too big and starting to cause more issues. DH and I have a decision to make soon. He still bounces back and acts playful but the bad days are slowly outweighing the good. I'm just devastated. It?s so hard to see him like this. I wanted sooo badly for him to be our baby?s first dog too. Even if it was just a short time but I need to let go of that.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
This may be hard to hear, but my brothers dog had seizures just like your dog, very spaced out. he was on medicine to control them also, but you could see his health declining. And then 2 weeks ago, he had 8 in a row, and they rushed him to a speicalized vet and he had to be put to sleep:( He actually went blind when he had the 9th one in the morning. He had never had that many before until that night.
Take him to the vet to see. I miss brandy everyday, but it came to the point where he was suffering too much.
So sorry, but I hope it all works out for you. Dogs are a part of your family
GL

This is my fear!! That I'll be home alone and he'll have multiple and I won't be able to get him in to the car to the vet. He 82 lbs. He had 4 in one day in July and we took him to a Neurology Vet and put him on meds. He goes blind for about 5 minutes after every seizure. We think once they get to once a week or every few days or even more then one at a time we'll know it's time. I hate it.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this..I know how hard it is .. ((hugs))
my brother and sil didnt know if he was having them while they were at work either so they kept their other day in the kitchen all day just in case. my sil actually carried him into the vet while he was having a seizure. It was really sad.
i went with him yesterday to pick up the ashes bc he was cremated and while I was sad, I knew it was for the best. He starting being really sluggish, then he would feel better, and then be sluggish again.
I am convinced it was a brain tumor, but they never went to a neurologist.
GL with everything. I have my own senior doggy at home and I try to cherish every moment with him
