Amnio borderline :(

So my amnio results can back passing but they were borderline so my dr wants me to wait. Which of course is for the best but still bummed that Im not having a baby today :( I have to see my dr today and we are going to reschedule. What am I going to do to keep busy until then AHHH! Total sad face

    I'm sorry--I'm not familiar with your situation.  Are they checking via amnio to see if LO's lungs are developed enough for delivery?  Why the early delivery?  Sorry you didn't get the results you were hoping for.  I'm sure you are anxious to meet your baby!

    Testing for lung maturation....so its pretty important. Now Im all nervous because Im worried Im going to go into labor on my own since I had my bloody show and have been contracting again. But the dr said that the test is good at determining maturation not good at determining if theyre not mature. If that makes sense. So she said dont worry if you do go into labor because it will probably be fine anyway.....ugh. So now I wait

    Got it.  Well, hang in there!  When will they check for maturation again?  I went into labor on my own at 37w1d, and DD was healthy, but girls' lungs tend to mature a little earlier than boys'.  So I'm hoping to keep this LO (boy) in there until closer to due date.  Take it easy and maybe it won't be much longer.  GL!
