Pregnant after 35

Gross, I know, but, bm's are difficult!!!

Hi Ladies! I am 7 weeks pg, and I have had difficulty with bm. Just in the last three days though, I have noticed that only when I have to push really hard (sorry for vulgarity) i have a light pink vaginal discharge on my tp.. Has anyone had this also? I am worried that it is some form of bleeding...

  • Don't know about the spotting, but I recommend drinking tons of water and taking some Colace to help move things along.

  • Hi, I was contstipated my whole 1st and most of 2nd tri. I did take Colace which helped. The nurse told me what goes in must come out. It eventually did but I am still not near as regular as I was. I am not sure about the discharge though.

  • I am also very constipated and taking Zofran which is making it worse. I have taken a few stool softeners here and there and I am trying to eat more fiber. I just sit there and hope a little will come out naturally, but I am not pushing because I don't want to get "Roids." Embarrassed

You should call the doc about the discharge to be sate.

  • I have bright red drops and have no words of advice except to stop straining.
  • Try eating at 2 Fiber One products each day.  This will help you go without any difficulty.  I love their bars, pop tarts and shredded wheat.  People think you need to stay away from the bars because they contain a small amount of Chicory root, but I asked my doctor who is a specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine and she said they are perfectly fine.

TRUST ME...FIBER ONE IS YOUR FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
