Laynie has blue eyes which does not seem possible given both mine and her donors eye color. I know blue/grey eyes are common at birth but when does actual eye color come in? TIA.

Eye color can change up to about 6 months... Most babies that end up with brown eyes are born with almost navy blue eyes or a dark grey. But your LO might have blue (if one of your parents and one of donor's parents has blue eyes - it is a recessive trait so 25% chance).

Max's eyes have always been the same. They are very dark brown and have been since birth. I thought it could take up to a year for the eyes to change, but I could be wrong.
My DD's stopped changing around 5-6 months...and stayed a crazy gray/blue/brown color. My dad had blue eyes and my husband has hazel eyes. I'm part Japanese so it still kind of weirds me out that the recessive gene won! LOL
I thought I had read somewhere that it can take up to 9 months to change, but I could be wrong.
DS was born with blue eyes, and over the last couple of months his right eye has been getting some hazel/brown in it and the left eye is still almost entirely blue. Its very strange and I'm kind of hoping they just both change entirely soon b/c I don't think I want him to be stuck with two different color eyes! DH's eyes are hazel and mine are blue.
Allie's changed to green from blue months ago. And hadn't changed since. I really hope they stay green. DH has brown eyes, and mine are different colors (hazelish/brownish), I thought for sure she would have brown eyes. But I love her green eyes.

My eyes are different colors and I love it. One is more brown then the other.
