3rd Trimester

This kid is breaking my back already...

I swear this child is pulling my back so out of whack that it is going to snap in half soon! I think she's hit a growth spurt and therefore I am feeling the pain. I couldn't even stand up long enough to get my hospital bag packed! And when I do get up to walk around a little bit I have to obviously lean way back to counter her weight. I now feel like the stereotypical pregnant lady; waddling, leaning back, and hand on back side of hip. UGH!

Thanks for listening, I just had to vent to someone other than poor DH, I know he is tired of hearing about it!

Re: This kid is breaking my back already...

  • My baby dropped last week, and the weight shift is murdering my mid-back. Laying on my back helps it feel better, but I can only lay on my back for about two minutes before I start to feel lightheaded. I'd like my LO to help me out by getting out of there in a timely fashion. Be born on time! Mommy hurts!

I've been this way for a while, but more so now... I feel your pain!  Literally!Sad

btw, ur due Dec 9 too? Smile

  • I was like this for most of the pregnancy.  A heating pad does wonders.

In my experience- once I dropped (about 35-36 weeks) my back pain actually relieved itself for the most part.

Hope you are feeling better soon- I know how excrutiating it can be :(
