Sorry if TMI The colors changed as they were supposed to from black tar to yellow/green but the last few days they've been orangey/pumpkin. Normal? I'm BF if that makes a diff.
totally normal. DS's poop changed to pumpkin colored around the same time as your LO. I asked his pedi and he informed me that it can change a few times...but as long as it's not hard you're fine.
Is it curdy or seedy as well, or is it straight liquid? Right around 2 weeks with our LO, I noticed orange liquid...it wasn't seedy or curdy anymore and the LC and pedi told us it was a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance issue. I was feeding for 10 mins on each side instead of feeding on one side at a time to let the breast empty completely which resulted in weird poops because she wasn't getting enough of the fatty hindmilk.
Are you feeding on one side at a time? If not, try that and you should notice a difference in a day or two.
My pedi told me that LO's were orange-juice-colored because I was eating raw carrots - are you eating any carrots? (She said they'd turn bright green if I ate peas).
