and go straight into kicks? I never got the fluttery feeling, but the last day or two I think I have been feeling random kicks. It is really light, but i'm about 75 percent sure that is what I am feeling. Just curious.
With my first 2 children I started with flutters and then went to kicks and movements. This time I only felt this baby on my sides and never felt any flutters. At my 20w u/s we found out I have an anterior placenta which is why I only feel movements on the sides and never felt any flutters.

Umm. I am guessing it is in the normal place because I have had 4 ultrasounds and nothing has been mentioned so far. The kick was on the front, but to the left side of my stomach.
I think this happened with me too. I only started to feel little "pops" a week ago. The flutters may have been there, but I didn't notice if there was.
Yep, very possible. I never got flutters, either; the first feeling I got was a kick when I was 16w, and has been kicks/hits ever since (besides when she glides along the wall, weirdest feeling ever!)

yup I never felt flutters or bubbles or anything. Just one day two little taps about an inch or two below my belly button! I was about 16 weeks then around 17 weeks it was definitely him and he does it daily now. It's awesome! I love it!!! Congrats momma!!!
yes! I had the flutter feeling with my first, so I was waiting for it, but it never happened. Now I feel the pops, and I first I was dismissing it b/c I thought I had to feel the flutters first. But it is definitely the baby kicking, or rolling around in there.
Re: Is it possible to skip he flutters stage..
Do you know where your placenta is?
