I keep reading to use jersey cotton as the fabric....do you girls think that one of those cotton jersey sheets would work? Just wondering cause I have an extra one and was hoping I could use that

also...would it even be long enough I just realized it needs to be super long ?

If you are thin, you could get away with a wrap that's 4 meters. The moby is closer to 5 meters. So a sheet wouldn't be long enough. You don't want to have seams on a wrap so you can't sew two shorter lengths together.

I am 5'9" and plus sized (18/20) and DH is 6'3" and 220 lbs...so I bought 6 yards of 60" wide jersey knit for $20 and cut it down the middle (in half; length wise) to make two wraps. Super easy...no sew since the fabric didn't even fray in the wash.
