Contractions and pooping

Sometimes I can't tell if I'm having contractions because it feels like baby's moving around or it feels like I have to poop really bad, and I usually end up in the bathroom doing just that. Am I the only one?

sometimes when james moves i feel the urge to poop for a couple of seconds! along with the urge to pee other times...

guh, i keep waking up in the middle of the night with slight cramps and aches in the lower abdomen thinking its labor starting but i always end up pooping. so much for labor signs...

I found your post very informative lol because I get contractions, but mistake them for having the poop runs real bad too. I go to the restroom, but nothing comes out and I discover it was just a contraction. I tough I was the only one Stick out tongue

This totally happened to me the night before I had my son. I started out having a dull backache and pooping almost every hour. Then all of a sudden I started having pretty intense contractions and even though I felt like I still had to poop, I never did once the contractions hit hard and heavy.
